Public food donations down by 50% in the last 3 years

6th October 2025

Monmouth & District foodbank relies solely on public food donations to help those in crisis in our community.

Last year we helped 1,086 people, 317 of them children with 3 day emergency food parcels.

This year donations of food are down by half from 3 years ago. We need the support of our community to help those in crisis.

If you can please buy an extra tin next time you are shopping and drop it in at one of our donation points,  Monmouth Co-Op, Library, Lidl, M&S, Baptist Church, One Stop Shop, Principality BS, , St Mary’s Priory Church, Monmouth Waitrose. Trellech St Nicholas Church, Raglan Tesco Express.

Thank you for your support!
